This location features a second-floor space with a spacious, heated, wood-paneled room and a separate kitchen. Inspiring views from the second-floor patios look west to Canada with an impressive sunset, and east to the shimmering skyline of downtown Buffalo. Cool breezes from the Niagara River and spectacular Canadian skies are almost guaranteed.

There is also great outdoor spaces, when the weather is right, with paved esplanades on the north and south facades of the boathouse and ample space for tents on the surrounding lawns.

About this unique venue: Frank Lloyd Wright originally designed his boathouse for the University of Wisconsin in 1905. It took the dedicated philanthropy of rowing and architecture enthusiast Charles Fontana and his family to bring this project to life on the bank of Buffalo’s Black Rock Channel in 2007.
